A leading construction company in the UK is hiring General Labour Masons to support building projects, bricklaying activities, and property maintenance work. The role involves assisting skilled masons, preparing construction materials, maintaining work areas, and helping with repairs and renovation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist bricklayers and masons on construction sites
  • Mix cement, mortar, and concrete materials
  • Carry bricks, blocks, and construction tools
  • Support wall construction and repair work
  • Clean and maintain work areas
  • Load and unload construction materials
  • Assist with plastering and basic masonry tasks
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Support building maintenance and renovation projects
  • Perform general labour duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements

  • High School Certificate or equivalent preferred
  • Basic knowledge of construction work is an advantage
  • Previous labour or masonry experience preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy materials
  • Good physical fitness
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of workplace safety procedures
