Job Description

HVAC Technicians install, inspect, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and cooling systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They troubleshoot equipment faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC equipment and ductwork.
  • Repair air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Replace faulty parts and components.
  • Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Test system performance and safety.
  • Maintain service records and reports.
  • Follow German workplace safety regulations.

Qualification

  • Diploma/ITI/Trade Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Basic English; German language skills are an advantage.
  • Valid technical certifications are preferred.
