A Carpenter in Germany is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, furniture, doors, windows, roofs, flooring, and other building components. Carpenters work on residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects while following German safety and quality standards.
Job Duties
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood materials.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, and wooden flooring.
- Build roof frames, stairs, and wall structures.
- Read and follow construction blueprints.
- Repair damaged wooden structures and furniture.
- Operate power tools and woodworking machinery safely.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
- Coordinate with construction teams and supervisors.
Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or diploma in Carpentry/Woodworking is preferred.
- 1–3 years of carpentry experience is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use woodworking tools.
- Basic German or English communication skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
