Job Duties
- Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks.
- Apply primer, paint, varnish, and protective coatings.
- Mix paint to match required colors.
- Use brushes, rollers, and spray-painting equipment.
- Protect furniture and floors before painting.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations.
- Clean the work area after completing the job.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in residential or commercial painting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of painting tools and surface preparation.
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
- Good physical fitness and attention to detail.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Trade certification or apprenticeship is beneficial but not mandatory for many entry-level roles.
