Job Duties

  • Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks.
  • Apply primer, paint, varnish, and protective coatings.
  • Mix paint to match required colors.
  • Use brushes, rollers, and spray-painting equipment.
  • Protect furniture and floors before painting.
  • Maintain painting tools and equipment.
  • Follow workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Clean the work area after completing the job.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience in residential or commercial painting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of painting tools and surface preparation.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
  • Good physical fitness and attention to detail.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Trade certification or apprenticeship is beneficial but not mandatory for many entry-level roles.
