Scaffolders assemble, install, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding systems used on construction, industrial, commercial, and maintenance projects. They ensure safe working platforms for workers at height while following Canadian safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures.
• Inspect scaffolding for safety and stability.
• Load, unload, and organize scaffold materials.
• Read construction drawings and scaffold plans.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and use PPE.
• Work at heights in various weather conditions.
• Repair or replace damaged scaffold components.
• Coordinate with construction supervisors and other trades.

Qualification

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Experience in scaffolding or construction is an advantage.
  • Working at Heights and Fall Protection certification preferred.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Knowledge of scaffold safety regulations.
  • Basic English communication skills.
